Asansör Istanbul, The International Lift Exhibition, one of the top three elevator industry fairs in the world, will open for the 15th edition at Tüyap Convention Center Istanbul from March 23rd -26th. In just several weeks the next edition of the biennial Asansör İstanbul fair will take place again with the support of AYSAD . It will again bring together the international lift and escalator sector as it has successfully done since 1992.
Asansör Istanbul, it's an international platform focused on asansörs but where are also involved other industries...Could you tell us what makes it different from other similar events?
Many local and international companies are currently finalising their participations along with many professional buyers and specifiers registering online as visitors. More than 350 exhibitors from 23 countries will exhibit in the fair. The 15th edition of the fair will be organized this year based on the international recognition and global power gained over previous editions and it will be attended by producers and suppliers of lift components, lift contracting companies, consulting companies, educational institutions, installation and security equipment companies as well as approved exhibitors and will play host to 30,000 local and international professionals that are in decision-making positions.
Also at Asansör İstanbul fair the conference agenda will discuss all the latest hot topics along with practical training advice provided.
What can you highlight from this next edition? What are going to be the novelties inside the event?
As for many years Taking place for the 15th time, the fair is set to again host pavilions from market leading supplier countries such as Germany and China. With hundreds of international and local industry leaders also exhibiting independently, the fair will attract the be attended by the biggest user companies. The fair is an important international trade forum with an unrivalled track record to increase direct sales and create new business opportunities for the markets of Turkey, Balkans, CIS Countries, Middsale East and Northern Africa. Once again Asansor Istanbul will be acvtively supported by AYSAD, a member of the European Lift Association and Turkey's most important and influential trade body. The latest trends and developments will again be discussed during the accompanying conferences held with along side the exhibition with the support of AYSAD and ELA (European Lift Association).
The show attracts exhibitors from many sectors, can you give some tips for those exhibiting for first time, not just in Asansör but in Turkey? (customs, business ettiquette, venue rules...to make business)
We recommend all our exhibitors especially the exhibitors who exhibit for the first time in Turkey or in our fair to follow the leads of our Technical and Marketing department to have a more succesful Show. By working with our suggested supplier companies like the forwarder company, travel agency etc, the exhibitor will have a more easy set up and travel as well.

Asansor Istanbul has been one of the most important and biggest of three global fairs in the sector. The professionals that are following the fair are over 80 countries. This year the fair will host 30.000 professionals.

In the previous edition of Asansör İstanbul which was in 2015, 28278 professionals from 88 different countries took the opportuntiy to view the latest industry offerings during the fair.
Asansor Istanbul has provided an opportunity to not only demonstrate new products and technologies, but also hosted high quality conferences which is organised with the support of AYSAD and ELA (European Lift Association) that were organised to address the challenges and opportunities faced across the industry.
